At DinoJump.com, we have 2 types of obstacle courses. Kids love our 33 foot long and 40 foot long obstacle course and parents love to rent them.
The 33 Foot Long Obstacle Course
The first one is 33 feet long and has a slide in the middle of the obstacle course. The kids line up 2 at a time and have a lot of fun! It has a slide in the middle of the obstacle course. The kids line up 2 at a time and have races through the obstacle course. This is generally for kids from 3 to 12 years of age. The color is blue, purple, red, green, and yellow. It’s very popular at backyard birthday parties, School events, Church’s, Daycares, Family Reunions, and Corporate events. The dimensions are 33 feet long, 9 feet tall, 16 feet wide with the tail attached to the blower. The recommended amount of kids is 2 at a time.
The 40 foot Foot Long Obstacle Course
We also have a 40 foot obstacle course that has a slide at the end of the unit. The kids also would line up 2 at a time and have races through the unit. This has a taller slide and tends to attract teenagers, so the recommended age is 3 to 18 years of age. The color is blue, red, and yellow. The dimensions are 40 feet long, 17 feet wide with the tail attached to the blower and 13 feet tall.
The obstacle courses are usually set up on grass and is staked down so it is secure. On the 40 foot obstacle course there are ropes to secure the top of the unit because it is a taller slide. The obstacle courses can also be set up on concrete. Each corner would require a sand bag for stability. The 33 foot obstacle course would require a 10 foot x 40-foot long tarp when it is set up on concrete and the 40 foot obstacle course would require a 20 x 30 tarp along with a 16 x 20 tarp. It is recommended not to set up the units if the wind exceeds 30 miles per hour. We have 3 hour, 5 hour and all day rentals ( 8 Hours ) unless the customer requests more time for the obstacle courses.
Sometimes we get requests for parks and in those cases, a generator is required. Most of the time I rent them out but sometimes customers have their own generator and it would have to be 2,500 watt minimum. Otherwise, if it is less than that it would shut the generator off due to lack of power. I do mention to the customer if they are bringing their own generator that they also start up before they bring to the park. Sometimes customers will borrow from a friend and they wait for the day of the party to start it and sometimes presents a problem.
These inflatable slip and slide rentals are great for:
- Kids parties
- Birthday parties
- Church events and parties
- Family Reunions
- Day Care Centers and Daycares
- Corporate Events
Parks usually require a certificate of insurance with a minimum of 1 million dollar insurance policy. I have a 1 million policy with a 2 million aggregate per occurrence. It takes about 20-30 minutes to set up the unit depending on how far power is from the unit. It takes about 30 minutes to take down the unit.
If it rains it can be used in a light rain but it does not have a top so it is limited. When and if the rain stops with the blower running and with a few towels the unit is dry in about 15 minutes. If it is raining hard just turn the blower off.
